Como faço para redefinir minha instalação do Ubuntu no Windows?

Eu instalei o Linux Subsystem for Windows na minha máquina. Funciona lindamente!

Desde então, eu fiz coisas indescritíveis para a minha instalação. Nada funciona mais. Como faço para começar do zero?

Com os novos aplicativos de loja específicos de distro, por exemplo :

C:\> ubuntu /?
Launches or configures a linux distribution.

Usage:
    <no args>
      - Launches the distro's default behavior. By default, this launches your default shell.

...

    clean
      - Uninstalls the distro. The appx remains on your machine. This can be
        useful for "factory resetting" your instance. This removes the linux
        filesystem from the disk, but not the app from your PC, so you don't
        need to redownload the entire tar.gz again.

Portanto, ubuntu clean deve ser suficiente.

Se ubuntu clean falhar, você precisará desinstalar o aplicativo da loja e reinstalá-lo. Veja WSL # 2387 .

Abra o Prompt de Comando (AKA cmd.exe ) e digite lxrun /uninstall . Isso deve limpar sua imagem do Ubuntu.

Uma vez feito isso, você pode reinstalar com lxrun /install .
