É um noob do Ubuntu, a primeira vez que tenho que lidar com algo assim.
Verifique se os repositórios restricted e universe estão ativados. Pressione Alt + F2 , digite software-properties-gtk e pressione Enter .
Na guia Ubuntu Software , ative todos os repositórios.
A forma preferida de instalar krita é ativando o seguinte PPA:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kubuntu-ppa/backports
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install krita
Note que as versões anteriores de krita devem ser desinstaladas.
Tive o mesmo problema. Tentei duas coisas:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kubuntu-ppa/backports
e
sude aptitude install kdelibs-bin kdelibs5-data kdelibs5-plugins
