Bem, eu tenho uma alternativa se você mudar de ideia
sudo apt-get install youtube-dl
Usando isso, você pode baixar mp3, vídeo de sua escolha usando -F para encontrar o formato numérico e -f número para fazer o download por exemplo:
youtube-dl -f 18 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=anything
