O Ubuntu usa o squid3 em vez de apenas o squid simples.
sudo apt-get install squid3
Quando eu instalo o Squid usando sudo apt-get install squid esta mensagem veio:

Eu tento atualizar depois que 55% falhou:
W: Failed to fetch http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/oneiric-backports/restricted/binary-i386/Packages 404 Not Found [IP: 91.189.91.14 80]
Como posso resolver isso?
