A remoção do 'wget' removeu o Chrome também. Por quê?

Eu instalei o 'axel' para baixar as coisas da internet. Então pensei em remover o 'wget'. Mas quando eu fiz o mesmo usando o comando

#sudo apt-get remove wget

Também removeu o Google Chrome. Por que isso aconteceu?

Bem, o motivo é simples:

google-chrome-stable Depende de de wget . Se o wget não estiver instalado, o Google Chrome também será desinstalado, já que o Chrome não pode funcionar sem o wget (aparentemente).
