Descobri que tinha que cortar / redimensionar a imagem de acordo com a resolução da tela. Problema semelhante encontrado aqui .
Eu instalei grub-customizer
para editar a tela de inicialização. Funciona até agora (ou seja, para timeout), mas as alterações relativas à imagem de fundo (e talvez estilos de fonte também) não são aplicadas. Coloquei a imagem em / boot . Como melhorar isso?
