Por favor, não feche como duplicado. Eu segui as instruções no outro post: Como instalar software ou atualizar de um antigo sem suporte lançamento?

Eu também li as entradas do Wiki, que basicamente dizem "atualize sources.list , atualização / dist-upgrade e do-release-upgrade " como no post.

Infelizmente, não consigo copiar os bits do meio dentro do "......" porque o processo de atualização inicia algum processo sub-terminal que não permite a rolagem de retorno (minha tela normal de escape e rolagem não funciona) t work, então quem sabe o que é isso?)

O problema parece ser que us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ não tem arquivos habilidosos?

Clarificação adicionada após alguns comentários abaixo:

  • o problema parece ser que eu adicionei suporte multi-arch para arm64 para suportar compilação cruzada para o Jetson TX2 (obrigado!)
  • isso, por sua vez, não funciona com a seleção automática de espelhamento, porque muitos espelhos refletem apenas a arquitetura Intel (por que não encontrar um espelho apropriado?)
  • sugestões para alterar o espelho usado me confundem, porque não consigo encontrar nenhuma documentação sobre como convencer do-release-upgrade a usar um espelho em particular (usei os Googles por 20 minutos; o mais próximo que pude chegar foi como apontá-lo para o meu próprio espelho de arquivo completo, que eu nem sei como configurar nem desejo de configurar)
  • do-release-upgrade está documentado especificamente para trocar o arquivo sources.list que existe no sistema, o que significa que quaisquer edições locais que eu não aplique ao upgrade de versão

Então, a questão é agora: como convencer o do-release-upgrade a usar um espelho específico (ou arquivo central) que tenha todas as arquiteturas apropriadas?

A maioria dos espelhos do Ubuntu são de x86 (i386 arch) & amp; Apenas x86_64 (amd64) e não inclua muitas outras arquiteturas como arm64. Então você tem duas opções

  • use somente o espelho principal archive.ubuntu.com/..
  • adicione uma restrição para usar apenas x86 / x86_64 no country.mirror

Um exemplo da segunda opção é

deb [arch=amd64,i386] http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu artful ....

Eu tive esse mesmo problema ao tentar executar do-release-upgrade em uma máquina arm64 real.

No final, eu segui as instruções em esta resposta para baixar o (no meu caso) artful.tar.gz upgrade pacote: 

cd somewhere
curl -LO http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/artful/main/dist-upgrader-all/current/artful.tar.gz
curl -LO http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/artful/main/dist-upgrader-all/current/artful.tar.gz.gpg
gpg --verify artful.tar.gz.gpg artful.tar.gz
# this will fail, download the key:
gpg --keyserver hkp://keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys 0x...
gpg --verify artful.tar.gz.gpg artful.tar.gz
tar xf artful.tar.gz

Em seguida, remova tudo do arquivo mirrors.cfg e adicione apenas: 

http://ports.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-ports/

Agora, corra

./artful --mode=server --frontend=DistUpgradeViewText

para iniciar o processo de atualização.

Eu não sei como acabei nessa situação, parece improvável que do-release-upgrade não deva funcionar em instalações Ubuntu não-x86 / x64.

Como abro o IDLE 3.4 quando o 2.7 já está instalado? As teclas não se repetem mais, o toque no touchpad e o touchpad com dois dedos não funcionam mais
