Owncloud não possui cadidate de instalação, como faço para corrigir?

Estou tentando instalar o servidor Owncloud em uma nova instalação do Ubuntu 16.04 e tenho seguido estas instruções da Digital Ocean e foi impecável até o comando

$ sudo apt-get install owncloud

e retorna

    owncloud-files

Então eu tentei rodar

$ sudo apt-get install owncloud-files

Qual algo instalado, mas não foi feito o instalador conforme esperado pelas instruções do Digital Ocean. Eu pesquisei e encontrei link e fez como AB disse, exceto eu mudei para a minha versão do Ubuntu e nada mudou.

Para onde eu vou daqui?

Isso é tudo o que acontece quando eu sigo as etapas, ele ainda diz que não há candidato a instalação 'owncloud'.

Eu recomendo que você use o Nextcloud. É totalmente open source, mais rápido e mais seguro. E tem mais recursos. A maioria da comunidade Owncloud mudou para o Nextcloud agora. Instruções para o Nextcloud no Oceano Digital e no Ubuntu podem ser encontradas aqui: link

Como eles descrevem nas instruções de instalação, você tem que adicionar um repositório para instalar o seu pacote. Assim, você pode executar esses comandos em um terminal com copy & amp; passado:

sudo curl https://download.owncloud.org/download/repositories/stable/Ubuntu_16.04/Release.key | sudo apt-key add - && echo 'deb https://download.owncloud.org/download/repositories/stable/Ubuntu_16.04/ /' | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/owncloud.list && sudo apt-get update

após isso ter sido executado, você tenta instalá-lo novamente sudo apt-get install owncloud
