Scanner Epson L210 para Ubuntu 16.04 está agora trabalhando

Instalei o driver iscan mais recente da Epson, mas a função de varredura no Ubuntu 16.04 ainda não está funcionando. Alguém tem uma solução? RESOLVIDO

Por sorte, acabei de encontrar uma solução baseada nesta instrução: link e problema na instalação do Epson Scanner no Lubuntu 15.10 (64bits)

O que eu fiz:

• Instalados alguns pacotes:

  sudo apt-get install sane sane-utils libsane-extras xsane  
  

• Edite o arquivo /etc/sane.d/dll.conf da seguinte forma:

  1. Adicione epkowa porque no meu caso não está na lista ou remova # antes de epkowa se existir
  2. Adicione # antes de epson2 para evitar conflitos com epkowa

Ainda há uma mensagem sobre permissão negada quando executo xsane , mas a xsane scanning está funcionando bem. A solução é alterar a permissão da pasta e qualquer pasta / arquivo dentro de /home/username/.sane para 755 rwxr xr x OU Você pode tentar executar o xsane como root - sudo xsane .

E para iscan , também funciona perfeitamente sem alterar qualquer permissão.

   If  your  device  isn't  found  but  you  know  that  it  is  supported,  make  sure  that  it is detected by your operating system. For SCSI and USB scanners, use the
   sane-find-scanner tool (see sane-find-scanner(1) for details). It prints one line for each scanner it has detected and some comments (#).  If  sane-find-scanner  finds
   your  scanner  only  as  root but not as normal user, the permissions for the device files are not adjusted correctly. If the scanner isn't found at all, the operating
   system hasn't detected it and may need some help. Depending on the type of your scanner, read sane-usb(5) or sane-scsi(5).  If your scanner (or other  device)  is  not
   connected over the SCSI bus or USB, read the backend's manual page for details on how to set it up.
