Tenho o Ubuntu Core no meu PandaBoard seguindo este guia . O Ubuntu Core tem o apt-get para que eu possa instalar novos pacotes, mas tudo o que eu quero instalar falha. Eu usei:
apt-get update apt-get update --fix-missing apt-get install xxxx apt-get upgrade Mas sempre recebendo erros. Se eu desconectar a internet, recebo exatamente o mesmo erro, por isso acho que não estou recebendo internet do meu cabo Ethernet. Eu instalei o Ubuntu Server e posso instalar tudo corretamente, mas o servidor Ubuntu é 1.6Gb vs 20Mb do Ubuntu Core. Supõe-se que o Ubuntu Core tenha acesso à Internet, mas não posso testá-lo porque não tenho "ping".

Isso provavelmente está acontecendo porque a imagem não conhece nenhum servidor de nomes.
Você pode corrigir isso adicionando um servidor de nomes, por exemplo, DNS do Google
