Eu atualizei meu Ubuntu 11.04 para 11.10 e meu Wifi parou de funcionar. Eu tenho um Lenovo Z560 que tem Intel centrino wireless-N 1000. Eu procurei vários segmentos com problemas semelhantes para uma solução e não tenho sucesso. O wlan0 não está aparecendo nem mesmo no rfkill. Por favor me ajude a encontrar uma solução.

Infelizmente, a série N-1000 não funciona corretamente no kernel 2.6. A melhor alternativa atual é desabilitar a conectividade sem fio-N da placa e operar somente em b / g. Não é o ideal, mas funciona.
Tente fazer
sudo modprobe -r iwlagn
sudo modprobe 11n_disable50=1 11n_disable=1
Para tornar a mudança permanente, adicione esta linha ao seu arquivo /etc/modprobe.d/iwlagn.conf:
options iwlagn 11n_disable50=1 11n_disable=1
Eu não sei exatamente como resolver esse problema, mas no caso de meu amigo, ele precisa digitar "rfkill block all" e, em seguida, seu wlan0 vai aparecer como uma mágica!
