adaptador composite-video-to-usb

Eu comprei um adaptador de vídeo composto para usb. Eu quero transmitir vídeo game no Ubuntu. Como posso fazer isso?

Se você tiver sorte, seu dispositivo de captura será reconhecido assim que você conectá-lo e estará pronto para uso. Se você fizer ls /dev/video* , deverá ver o dispositivo. Assumindo que é o único plugado, será / dev / video ou / dev / video0.

Se você não vir o dispositivo, talvez seja necessário procurar o driver apropriado. Este post sugere que é realmente um Geniaech EZ Grabber que foi renomeado, e usa o driver do uvcvideo.

Para testar o dispositivo, você pode usar o mplayer: mplayer /dev/video deve fazer isso.

Eu gosto do VLC para a maioria das coisas, e ele pode fazer streaming de vídeo a partir de um dispositivo de captura. Você pode instalar o VLC a partir do Synaptic. O VLC é muito fácil de usar, mas esta entrada do VLC Documentation Wiki deve ajudar você a começar.
