netbeans não exibirá a janela de projetos

que é um erro que eu estava vendo antes de uma limpeza instalar.

(Possivelmente relacionado a este erro , ou pelo menos similar.)

O NetBeans 8.2 só funciona com o Oracle JDK 8, mas não com o JDK 9. Eu tive exatamente os mesmos problemas. (Eu acho que o Netbeans 9 funcionará com o JDK9, mas ainda não saiu).
