Steam: não foi possível encontrar o bootstrap ubuntu 16.04

depois de instalar o steam through terminal usando 'sudo apt-get install vapor'

baixou e ficou preso na verificação de atualizações e solicitou que não fosse possível conectar o evento, embora minha internet esteja funcionando. Eu novamente tentei iniciar o vapor pela linha de comando

eu estava com esse mesmo problema, tente instalar o libnss-resolve: i386

digite no seu terminal: sudo apt instale o libnss-resolve: i386

e veja a mágica acontece;)
