Quando eu estou usando o sudo apt-get udate no meu servidor eu estou de repente recebendo uma falha para buscar e não tenho certeza o que devo mudar para corrigir esse erro? Estou executando um servidor LTS 14.04 do Ubuntu

Não funciona porque existe (não mais) um release PPA. Exclua o arquivo da lista:
grep -rl 'ppa.launchpad.net/nginx/release' /etc/apt | xargs sudo rm
sudo apt-get update
Adicione o PPA de versão estável com
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:nginx/stable
sudo apt-get update
ou outro Ngnix PPA .
