Eu instalei o LibreOffice 4.0.4, adicionei o PPA LibreOffice 4-1 e instalei a nova versão (LO 4-1). No entanto, existe um problema de atraso no menu, por isso decidi remover o 4-1 e instalar o 4-0 novamente ...

Para instalar o LibreOffice 4, você precisará remover completamente todas as versões anteriores. Executar:
sudo apt-get remove --purge libreoffice-core libreoffice-common
