Unidade de disco rígido montada em /, disco rígido montado duplicado após o uso do MountManager

Estou correndo 12.04 64 bits. Meu sistema é um boot duplo para o Ubuntu e Windows7. Ambos os sistemas operacionais estão compartilhando o drive chamado "Elements".

Meu volume chamado "Elements" é um disco rígido SATA NTFS de 1 TB que aparece duas vezes na barra lateral do nautilus. Um dos ícones é funcional e até tem o conveniente ícone de "ejetar" próximo a ele. Abaixo está uma imagem do menu à esquerda no Nautilus, com a guia System Monitor- > File Systems aberta em cima dela. Alguém pode me aconselhar sobre como se livrar deste ícone extra? Eu acho que o problema é muito mais enraizado do que apenas uma falha de GUI na parte do Nautilus.

Nessecaso,nãoimportaondeeuestejanoNautilusquandoeutentoclicarnoícone,éclaroqueeleirámedizerqueaqueledriveestásendousadoporoutroprograma...Nautilus.

Tenhomedodetentardesmontarestediscorígido(sdb6)porcausadeondeelepareceestarmontado.Eusouumaespéciedenoob,eeutenhoessepressentimentoquemediztentandodesmontarumaunidadeem/irádestruirtodoomeusistemadearquivos.Essemedofoireforçadopelasaídade"$ fsck" no final deste post.

Erro imediatamente abaixo quando o segundo disco rígido "Elements" é clicado no Nautilus:

UnabletomountElementsMountisdeniedbecausetheNTFSvolumeisalreadyexclusivelyopened.Thevolumemaybealreadymounted,oranothersoftwaremayuseitwhichcouldbeidentifiedforexamplebythehelpofthe'fuser'command.

ÉestranhoparamimqueessamensagemdeerroacimaafirmequeéumvolumeNTFSquandotudomaismedizqueéumvolumeext4.Odiscorígidoreal"Elementos" é, na verdade, um volume NTFS.

Aqui está a solução.

Em vez de ler o / etc / fstab

UUID=F6549CC4549C88CF /media/Elements ntfs-3g users 0 0

Altere a linha para

/dev/disk/by-uuid/F6549CC4549C88CF /media/Elements ntfs-3g users 0 0

Não funcionou para mim. Alterando a opção users por nouser . Isto é,
