Como ativar o serviço Apache Solr no Rackspace Ubuntu Server?

Nós instalamos o Apache Solr no servidor ubuntu dedicado da Rackspace. Mas, acho que por causa do Firewall este serviço não está disponível. Eu tentei adicionar a seguinte linha de acordo com a documentação da Rackspace:

/ sbin / iptables -I RH-Firewall-1-ENTRADA 1 -p tcp --dport 8983 -j ACCEPT

que me retorna o seguinte resultado:

iptables: sem cadeia / destino / correspondência com esse nome.

Como @lgarzo sugeriu acima, eu apenas consertei a corrente e funcionou.

Comando correto:

/sbin/iptables -I INPUT 1 -P tcp --dport 8983 -j ACCEPT

Além disso, certifique-se de salvar seu IPTABLES depois disso.
