Suspender não está funcionando - ajuda necessária para depurar

Desde os últimos dias, sempre que tento suspender meu sistema, meu laptop retoma imediatamente a suspensão. Não tenho certeza qual é o erro exato.

Eu também notei que desde que esse problema começou, não houve mensagens registradas em /var/log/pm-suspend.log

Além disso, não consigo decifrar o syslog e descobrir qual é o problema. Eu copiei as partes relevantes do meu syslog abaixo (pelo menos o que eu achei relevante. Se houver algo mais que eu deveria adicionar ao syslog dump, ou qualquer outro arquivo de log que eu precise adicionar ao post, por favor deixe eu sei).

Como corrijo esse problema / depuro ainda mais esse problema?

Estou usando o 17.04 em um Dell Latitude E7470.

Eu segui o tópico no link acima e entendi que o problema estava relacionado a dispositivos USB 3.0 conectados ao meu laptop.

o seguinte comando corrigiu o problema para mim. Precisa ser executado como root

echo XHC > /proc/acpi/wakeup

O comando parece que você está escrevendo em um arquivo, mas o efeito que ele tem é impedir que os dispositivos USB ativem o sistema.

Se você não tiver certeza de que é o USB que está ativando o sistema, verifique o seguinte.

grep enabled /proc/acpi/wakeup | cut -f 1

Se uma das linhas de saída for XHC , isso significa que um dispositivo USB pode ser o problema. Para testar se esse é o caso, tente suspender com o dispositivo USB desconectado. Se sua máquina não acordar automaticamente da suspensão, provavelmente é uma conexão USB.
