não pode construir módulos vmware 10 por causa da versão do kernel

Instalei o vmware workstation 10 no meu Lubuntu 16.10 32bit com a versão do kernel 4.8.0-22-generic. Primeiro, quando iniciei a estação de trabalho, solicitava a complementação de alguns módulos. Mas isso sempre falhava. Eu verifiquei a rede sobre o problema e fui obrigado a corrigir coisa vmnet. Eu sei que isso é por causa de uma versão do kernel muito nova para o VMware 10. Alguém pode por favor me mostrar o trabalho em torno disso? Como torná-lo compatível com o novo kernel?
