Estou tentando instalar o PostgreSQL pela primeira vez, mas recebo o seguinte erro:

Eu também tive esse problema. Parece que o sistema operacional não foi reconhecido

Verifique o conteúdo de /etc/os-release

sudo nano /etc/os-release 

Um simples truque para mim foi editá-lo para

NAME="Ubuntu"
VERSION="16.04 (Xenial Xerus)"
ID=ubuntu
ID_LIKE=debian
PRETTY_NAME="Ubuntu 16.04"
VERSION_ID="16.04"
HOME_URL="http://www.ubuntu.com/"
SUPPORT_URL="http://help.ubuntu.com/"
BUG_REPORT_URL="http://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/"
UBUNTU_CODENAME=xenial

Aparentemente, como o Zorin é baseado no Ubuntu, não recebi nenhum erro.
