Por que o Samba não me permite excluir um arquivo?

Eu não sou especialista em Linux - eu diria que 6 em uma escala de 1-10

Eu apenas configurei o Samba no meu servidor Linux Ubuntu (sem GUI, somente CLI). Eu criei a conta smb e conectei a partir do meu mac e montei meu diretório home para a maior parte funciona bem.

Eu fiz o teste normal, toquei em um arquivo e depois o excluí. Estranhamente eu poderia criar o arquivo bem, mas não consegui deletá-lo.

Eu olhei pela web e vi esse problema - a maioria das respostas estava relacionada a configurações de permissão no arquivo smb.conf. Eu joguei com estes, mas não acho que seja esse o problema. Do meu mac eu posso chmod mesmo as configurações para 777 (E eu verifiquei no servidor Linux para ver que o chmod levou, ele fez), e eu posso modificar o arquivo que criei, mas não pode excluí-lo.

Estou muito confuso, estou pensando se isso pode ter algo a ver com o próprio samba não ter permissões, mas isso está além do que eu sei como verificar.

Eu ainda estou curioso sobre isso - na maioria das vezes eu acabei de me mudar para o sshfs, o que é muito legal e me levou 3 minutos e nenhum pensamento enquanto eu estava trabalhando com smb & amp; nfs.

Seu serviço samba obviamente tem acesso de gravação ao diretório raiz que você está criando, caso contrário ele não seria capaz de criar arquivos também.

É mais provável que a configuração do seu samba esteja definida para não permitir a exclusão / desvinculação.

Você pode testar para ver se é possível criar e excluir um arquivo em uma subpasta?
