Eu não tenho nenhum menu sobre wireless no meu menu de rede, apenas uma opção em cinza chamada "Ethernet Network (Intel Wireless 8260)". "Editar conexões" também não aparece sem fio. Em "Software and Updates", não há nada relacionado a wireless ou broadcom na seção de drivers adicionais. No entanto, "sudo iwlist scan" fornece as conexões de rede sem fio corretas disponíveis, eu gostaria de vê-las no menu de rede com algum tipo de opção "enable wifi".

O problema resolveu-se. Depois de reiniciar, pude ver todas as redes wifi disponíveis. Talvez porque é um novo laptop, não foi feito atualização ou algo assim. Além disso, eu estava em um local diferente, onde os problemas de segurança podem ter me impedido de ver o wifi.
