Alterações visuais das aplicações com root no Kubuntu 15.10 / 16.04

Question

O problema é: quando inicio aplicativos no Kubuntu com sudo ou kdesudo , esses aplicativos alteram seus temas visuais e alguns deles são exibidos com problemas.

A próxima coisa muito estranha é a saída do Konsole, durante kdesudo :

Eu tentei executar aplicativos com variáveis de ambiente como XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP=$XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP XDG_CONFIG_DIRS=$XDG_CONFIG_DIRS XDG_RUNTIME_DIR=$XDG_RUNTIME_DIR , mas o resultado não é muito melhor:

Eu notei esse problema no Kubuntu 15.10, mas pensei que seria corrigido no lançamento do LTS. Parece que eu estava errado. Como isso pode ser corrigido?
