Editar : Rinzwind me deu uma dica em uma barra de lançamento projeto chamado " wiican ". Aparentemente, ele é implementado como um applet indicador e permite personalizar suas ações do wii. Você poderia ligar, amarok -t para um wiibutton.
Você está com sorte e nem sabe o quanto. Levei um tempo e um pouco de pesquisa, mas: eu escrevi um roteiro para fazer isso há um tempo. Funciona com o Amarok e o Totem, embora possa ser facilmente modificado para controlar outros jogadores (desde que tenham uma interface de linha de comando).
