Acabei de instalar o Ubuntu 13.04 no meu Lenovo g580.
Ao executar pm-suspend ou fechar a tampa, o laptop suspende muito bem. No entanto, quando eu reabrir a tampa ou apertar um botão, ele acorda (os ventiladores começam a funcionar), a tela permanece toda preta (sem ponteiro do mouse ou qualquer coisa) e eu sou forçado a reiniciar.
Às vezes, posso ouvir um som que acho que é o prompt de login do Ubuntu, sugerindo que o laptop está em execução e que o problema está no monitor.
Não tenho aplicativos de tela cheia ou dispositivos externos conectados no momento da suspensão.
Como posso diagnosticar e corrigir este problema?

Eu tenho o mesmo problema, mas com atrevimento (13.10). Meu caso é estranho, porque eu tive esse problema logo após a instalação limpa - onde eu 'consertei' com a configuração
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT = "quiet splash pcie_aspm=force"
em '/ etc / default / grub' - seguindo a sugestão de O Ubuntu congela / trava após a ativação quando é atualizado para 13.10 .
Depois de instalar outro gerenciador de janelas (não posso ter certeza de que essa foi a causa da recorrência do problema), experimentei o problema novamente e não consigo corrigi-lo novamente.
Edit: este não foi o problema - como afirmei mais adiante, meu laptop retoma perfeitamente com um monitor externo. Nada a ver com a configuração do GRUB ...

O gerenciador de janelas era StumpWM, mas o problema também ocorre dentro do ambiente padrão do Ubuntu. Eu tentei os drivers padrão fglrx e fglrx-updates.
Editar: * Meu sistema (como os authers originais) realmente entra no Ubuntu quando sai da suspensão; apenas com uma tela preta. Aqui eu pude executar 'shutdown -h now' ou a combinação REISUB para reiniciar.
Se eu executar um script após a ressuscitação para mostrar apenas a saída em minha tela de laptops (que funciona quando não tiver suspendido antes) - isso não tem efeito.
Estranhamente - se eu conectar um monitor externo ao meu laptop através do HDMI antes de suspendê-lo, o computador retoma a exibição perfeitamente, mas apenas no monitor externo ... O próprio monitor dos laptops ainda não exibirá nenhuma saída até reiniciar. / p>

Vou tentar instalar o mais recente driver Catalyst de seu site como o próximo passo, já que preciso de aceleração 3D no meu laptop .. (argumento para não instalar o driver de código aberto)
Eu também tive esse problema. Muito frustrante. Eu comecei a usar o driver fgrlx-updates. Isso resolveu o problema para mim. Isso pode ser encontrado em Software & amp; Atualizações e depois drivers adicionais. Eu parei de usar o Ubuntu por um tempo por causa disso, mas estou feliz por ter encontrado essa correção.
