Não consigo instalar o Skype no Ubuntu 14.04 64 bits

Eu tentei vários tutoriais que encontrei on-line, mas não consigo instalar o Skype.

apt-get me dá este erro: (mas o Synaptic não reporta nenhum pacote quebrado)

Com base nos números de versão, você provavelmente está usando o PPA xorg-edgers (ou pelo menos usando os pacotes desse PPA).

Em teoria, apt deve obter as versões amd64 e i386 se você tiver esse PPA adicionado. Para descobrir se você tem o PPA adicionado, execute apt-cache policy libdrm-intel1 . Se a entrada com o número de versão 2.4.54+git20140523.8fc62ca8-0ubuntu0ricotz~trusty não tiver um link para o PPA (há somente 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status e não 500 something), você não está usando o PPA. / p>

Se você não estiver usando o PPA (mesmo se não estiver usando o PPA e quiser se livrar dos pacotes com segurança), execute sudo add-apt-repository ppa:xorg-edgers/ppa e, em seguida, sudo apt-get update e, em seguida, sudo apt-get dist-upgrade .

Se você não quiser usar o PPA (e quiser se livrar dos pacotes do PPA), ou estiver usando o PPA e não conseguir instalar o Skype, execute sudo ppa-purge xorg-edgers .

Eu tive o mesmo problema ontem. Que dor. Sim, a dor era eu.

Veja como resolvi:

dpkg --add-architechture i386
apt-get update
apt-get upgrade
apt-get dist-upgrade
apt-get install skype
