Eu estava tentando fazer com que o Ubuntu reconhecesse minha placa wireless externa e, no processo, consegui desativar a capacidade do Ubuntu de ler minha placa wireless integrada ... Estou trabalhando com um computador Sager que estava rodando (acredito) iwlwifi desde Eu primeiro inicializei minha máquina nativa do Windows 10. Eu comprei um adaptador WIFI USB wn722n tp-link, e estava esperando para fazê-lo funcionar no Ubuntu. Eu segui os passos aqui Como instalar o driver para TP-Link TL-WN722N no Ubuntu 14.04? para tentar fazê-lo funcionar com o processo de 4 etapas descrito na primeira resposta. Basicamente, ele diz para você fazer o download de backports (eu baixei a versão mais recente) e configure o ath9k. Mas depois de seguir esses passos eu reiniciei, após o que nem meu cartão wi-fi integrado nem meu tp-link funcionariam. Estou executando o Ubuntu 16.04, mas achei que o artigo iria me ajudar.
Eu li nos fóruns que a razão de não estar funcionando pode ser porque eu instalei drivers possivelmente conflitantes. No entanto, agora eu não tenho certeza do que está atrapalhando a minha conexão integrada, já que eu coloquei todos os blacklists em /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf como mostrado abaixo e ainda não funciona.
