Como corrigir a detecção de palma no Ubuntu 17.04

Question

Eu tive esse problema desde o Ubuntu 16.04. A detecção da palma simplesmente não funciona. Tentei executar os comandos mencionados no artigo , mas sem efeito.

O driver de espaço do usuário Synaptics não é muito bom na detecção de palma.

No Ubuntu 17.04 libinput é o driver de espaço do usuário padrão. Não é chamado por algum motivo.

Executar em um terminal

sudo apt install xserver-xorg-input-libinput

para instalá-lo. Então reinicie.

O toque pode estar desativado por padrão. Edite /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/40-libinput.conf para ver desta forma:
