Como posso permitir que alguém acesse minha VM?

Acabei de adicionar um usuário no linux e dar uma senha.

   useradd dluiz
   passwd dluiz

Agora, experimentei o ssh no meu vm como esse usuário que recebi

ssh dluiz@ip

Eu tenho

Permission denied (publickey).
