O GIMP falhou ao desinstalar

Isso é o que eu recebo quando tento desinstalar o GIMP:

yoyo@yoyo-Inspiron-3521:~$ sudo apt-get remove gimp
[sudo] password for yoyo:
Reading package lists...
Done Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
You might want to run 'apt-get -f install' to correct these:
The following packages have unmet dependencies: libc6 : Breaks: locales (< 2.19) libc6:i386 :
Recommends: libc6-i686:i386
             Breaks: locales (< 2.19)
             E: Unmet dependencies.
Try 'apt-get -f install' with no packages (or specify a solution).

Eu tive problemas semelhantes antes e descobri que o aptitude corrige o problema:
sudo apt-get install aptitude
sudo aptitude update
sudo aptitude upgrade
Aptidão lhe dará uma lista de opções para escolher para consertar seu sistema.
