A compilação do linuxtv falha ao aplicar o patch

Eu atualizei para o Kubuntu 14.04 a partir de 13.10 hoje. Descobri que meus pacotes de webcam de terceiros foram excluídos durante a atualização. Eu estava usando drivers linuxtv, então segui as instruções dadas em esta página .

Eu executei seguindo os comandos no terminal

git clone git://linuxtv.org/media_build.git 
cd media_build
./build

Eu realmente não sei como proceder a partir deste ponto. Se alguém tiver solução para este problema, por favor me avise.

Consegui convencer a build a avançar. Parece compilar bem até agora ... dedos cruzados ...

Veja o que fiz: abri backports/pr_fmt.patch , removi tudo após diff --git a/drivers/media/usb/gspca/dtcs033.c e, em seguida, executei build novamente.
