ImportError: Nenhum módulo chamado _io

Eu acabei de instalar o ubuntu 14.04LTS e estou tentando usar o pip, mas estou seguindo o seguinte traceback:

alguma ideia? Eu tentei sudo apt-get install python3-pip e sudo apt-get install python-pip

A pergunta foi respondida por Yuval Adam em esta postagem do Stack Overflow :

Your virtualenv became corrupt due to diffs in the Python system lib.

Best choice is to reinstall your virtualenv:

$ deactivate
$ rmvirtualenv nlmanagement
$ mkvirtualenv nlmanagement
$ pip install -r requirements.txt
