O Ubuntu fica preso na tela de desligamento [fechado]

Acabei de instalar o e4rat (um programa para tornar seu tempo de inicialização mais rápido) e configurá-lo. Agora, o tempo de inicialização é muito mais rápido, mas quando eu quero desligar ou reiniciar, minha máquina fica presa na tela de desligamento.

O que posso fazer para evitar isso?

Não estou usando o Ubuntu no Virtualbox. O Ubuntu (13.04) é o meu verdadeiro PC-System instalado no disco rígido. Mas eu instalei o Virtualbox do Centro de Software no meu Ubuntu 13.04. Aqui estão as últimas linhas de /var/log/kern.log

Veja como consertei:

Primeiro, os bugs superiores não eram os únicos. Eu também tive um uso de memória extremamente alto, os gráficos não funcionaram direito, tudo correu extremamente lento, meu uso da CPU foi sempre de cerca de 90% (eu tenho um AMD-FX6300 Six Core !!!), eu não conseguia montar dispositivos e o som não funcionou. Então, aqui está o que eu fiz para resolver isso. Acabei de instalar manualmente o novo kernel 3.9 assim:
