Erro ao criar o arquivo .deb do driver AMD Catalyst

Question

Eu estava seguindo as etapas para instalar o AMD Catalyst Driver em wiki.cchtml.com .

Enquanto eu criava o arquivo .deb, ocorreu o seguinte erro:

Eu tive uma experiência terrível com este " amd-driver-installer-catalyst-13.1-linux-x86.x86_64.run " no Ubuntu 12.10 de 64 bits na semana passada. Após a instalação e reinicialização "bem-sucedida", meu computador ficou preso no estágio inicial do X. Por sorte, fiz um backup de minha partição do Ubuntu com o Clonezilla . Se você tiver sorte, pode funcionar no Ubuntu 12.04, mas caso eu recomende fazer um backup primeiro. Talvez também seja uma boa idéia instalar esses drivers proprietários de repositórios do Ubuntu (iniciar Fontes de Software > Drivers Adicionais ). Eles me deram um desktop funcional pelo menos, embora nem o Unity nem o Compiz estivessem funcionando; -)

Como resultado, depois de verificar se meu sistema tem suporte a vga_switcheroo , eu me tornei contente com automaticamente ativando e desativando os gráficos discretos quando alterno entre < strong> AC e Battery power supply simplesmente adicionando um pequeno arquivo de script executável chamado 11_hybrid_graphics_switch na pasta /etc/pm/power.d com o seguinte conteúdo :
