Eu tenho 6 atualizações que não serão instaladas no Ubuntu 12.04?

Sou um novato no Ubuntu, então qualquer ajuda aqui é muito apreciada. Estou executando o 12.04 e tenho seis atualizações que não serão instaladas. Eu tentei o Gerenciador de Atualizações, sudo apt-get upgrade e sudo apt-get update . Nada funcionou até agora.

Todos os erros indicam que não foi possível encontrar um arquivo, que é /usr/sbin/update-initramfs

Agora eu executei o seguinte comando para descobrir qual pacote deveria fornecer esse arquivo e aqui está a saída

$ dpkg -S /usr/sbin/update-initramfs
initramfs-tools: /usr/sbin/update-initramfs

Então, por favor, tente instalar o pacote initramfs-tools e execute novamente as atualizações. Para verificar se o pacote já está presente.

sudo dpkg -l |grep initramfs-tools

Em seguida, para instalar o initramfs-tools (se não for encontrado)

sudo apt-get install initramfs-tools

Em seguida, repita o processo de instalação usando sudo apt-get update ou outros comandos.

Eu encontrei um problema semelhante com o linux-image-3.2.0-35-generic.

sudo apt-get install --reinstall initramfs-tools

pareceu ajudar. No mínimo, todos os pacotes foram instalados sem erros. Tanto quanto eu entendo (meu conhecimento é muito limitado, tenha isso em mente), em algum ponto / usr / sbin / update-initramfs foi deletado por algum motivo estranho. Mas o pacote ainda estava marcado como instalado, então

sudo apt-get install initramfs-tools

não mudou nada.

Experimente sudo apt-get dist-upgrade nesses casos; ou seja, quando o upgrade regular via Update Manager ou sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade deixa alguns pacotes fora - particularmente os pacotes "linux-something" (são atualizações do kernel).

Eu tenho um problema semelhante no Ubuntu 14.04 e resolvi isso com isso:

sudo cp /usr/sbin/update-initramfs.orig.initramfs-tools /usr/sbin/update-initramfs

Parece que o initramfs-tools foi instalado, mas o binário executável mudou seu nome por alguma razão, deixando o apt-get inutilizável para atualizar os kernels !!!
