como conectar um alto-falante multifuncional ao Ubuntu 16.04 via bluetooth?

Eu comprei recentemente um alto-falante multifuncional, que pode se conectar usando o bluetooth. O dispositivo está listado como S2025 nas configurações de Bluetooth (veja a imagem abaixo), mas a conexão está em cinza (OFF). Os alto-falantes geralmente soam "Bluetooth conectado" quando conectado usando o smartphone Android, ele funciona corretamente. Eu já tentei algumas coisas procurando solução para questões semelhantes no askubuntu, como instalar o pacote bluez: i386.

Os passos seguintes resolveram o problema:

1. Instale o driver proprietário para o Adaptador de rede sem fio Broadcom BCM4313 802.11bgn na guia Additional Drivers de Software & Updates .
2. Da execução do terminal pactl load-module module-bluetooth-discover como sugerido em resposta a esta pergunta do askubuntu
3. Remova o dispositivo e o emparelhe novamente no gerenciador de bluetooth
