Embora as informações abaixo sejam sobre minha tentativa de instalar o love2d, tive o mesmo problema ao tentar instalar o Sublime Text 3 e o Compton Compositor.
Estou tentando instalar o love2d do PPA. Eu entro no comando abaixo e recebo muitos erros, como você pode ver:
