Estou executando o Ubuntu 16.04 em um módulo de tela sensível ao toque da Dell Inspiron. Sempre que eu digito meu touchpad salta. Eu tentei uma série de guias neste fórum, mas nada funcionou bem para mim.

Eu tenho um laptop Dell XPS 13 e estava tendo o mesmo problema com o Ubuntu 16.04, instalei o Touchpad Indicator que permite desativar o touchpad durante a digitação e outros ajustes.
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:atareao/atareao
sudo apt update
sudo apt install touchpad-indicator
