O Ubuntu 16.04 não detecta o segundo monitor conectado via HDMI

  • laptop - x556uq-dm302d da ASUS
  • projetor - Acer X127H

SO:

  • Ubuntu 16.04 64 bits

Eu tentei conectar um projetor como meu segundo monitor, mas ele não foi reconhecido: "Sem sinal" e o ícone HDMI é mostrado na parte inferior direita.

Já tentei isso (instalando o Kernel 4.4), isto (E: Não é possível localizar o pacote nvidia-364)
