Preso na inicialização: módulos ausentes (cat / proc / modules; ls / dev) busybox

Question

Estou tentando instalar o Ubuntu 16.04 no meu laptop, mas ele ficou preso durante a inicialização.

Por que o erro abaixo aparece?

Gave up waiting for root device. Common problems:

- Boot args (cat /proc/cmdline)
- Check rootdelay= (did the system wait long enough?)
- Check root= (did the system wait for right device?)
-Missing modules (cat /proc/modules; ls /dev)
