resolve.conf em 14.04.1 LTS

resolve.conf está exibindo algum código HTML e parece que não consigo corrigir o problema. Adicionamos entradas de DNS a /etc/network/interfaces e resolvconf -u mostraram um link simbólico ausente. então eu rm 'd resolve.conf e corri dpkg-reconfigure resolveconf e reiniciei. Ainda estou vendo isso (onde 'x.x.x.x' = IP correto do DNS & domínio.name = domínio correto):

Você pode tentar criar um script e executá-lo: 

#/bin/sh
   [default]
   case [!$] in
      /bin/sh
      networkname="true"
      networkname="ip adr here"
      nmcli nm networkname vpn
      resolve.confirm ip adr here
   endl

e pode funcionar bem assim.
