Wifi com o Asus R510JK no Ubuntu 15.04 e no kernel 4.0

Wifi neste laptop estava funcionando bem com o ubuntu 14.10. Eu instalei o 15.04 diariamente com o kernel 4.0 para ativar o touchpad do FocalTech. Mas agora o Wifi não está mais funcionando (também não está funcionando com o kernel stock v3.19 de 15,04).

Estou procurando algumas pistas sobre como corrigir esse problema.

Isso pode funcionar sudo apt-get purge bcmwl-kernel-source

sudo apt-get install bcmwl-kernel-source no kernel 3.19

bcmwl com relatório de bug do kernel 4.0

Verifique também lsmod | grep acer e veja se o acer_wmi está listado, então

echo "blacklist acer_wmi" | sudo tee -a /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf

Focaltech irá trabalhar em 3,19 para vívido.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:hanipouspilot/focaltech-dkms
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install focaltech-dkms
