Minha regra personalizada do udev hwdb não funciona

Estou usando o ubuntu 14.04 instalado no modo EFI, tentei escrever uma regra do udev simples, que para todos os teclados USB externos mapeará capslock para escape. Eu uso muito vim e plugue e desconecte teclados com frequência, o que simplificará bastante as coisas. Então, seguindo diferentes tutoriais eu fiz tal arquivo

cat /etc/udev/hwdb.d/61-keyboard-local.hwdb


keyboard:usb:v*p*
keyboard:usb:v046dpc30e*
    KEYBOARD_KEY_58=esc

então eu executei

udevadm hwdb --update

mas não funciona. Eu usei o mapeamento duplicado primeira regra geral para qualquer teclado USB

keyboard:usb:v*p*

e para o que eu já tinha plugado

keyboard:usb:v046dpc30e*

achei que talvez um trabalho específico funcione, mas infelizmente não.

O formato é KEYBOARD_KEY_<hex scan code> . Use 'evtest' para encontrar o código de verificação correto. Execute-o, selecione o dispositivo apropriado e pressione a tecla para a qual você deseja o código de verificação. Procure por algo como:

Event: time 1410505361.975680, type 4 (EV_MSC), code 4 (MSC_SCAN), value 70039
Event: time 1410505361.975680, type 1 (EV_KEY), code 58 (KEY_CAPSLOCK), value 1

Você quer o código localizado após MSC_SCAN , então no meu teclado é 70039, acredito que isso seja verdadeiro para todos os teclados USB.

Além disso, depois de:

udevadm hwdb --update

você precisa:

udevadm trigger

Para ativar o novo mapeamento.

Eu suspeito que o que você quer é alguma outra regra, mas o que você está recebendo é o seguinte:
