O efeito surround virtual é implementado pelo software Windows da Logitech.
O PulseAudio tem module-virtual-surround-sink , mas quase não documentado.
Eu pesquisei e pesquisei, vi muitos resultados, mas parece que não consigo fazer nada funcionar. Eu olhei em tudo que eu posso encontrar, olhei em pulseaudio junto com alsa, e até mesmo OSS (Mas eu não posso encontrar muito sobre isso, no entanto eu acho que pode ser o melhor caminho a percorrer). Eu realmente não sei onde ir aqui, mas eu realmente quero áudio 7.1 virtual como eu tinha no Winderp $.
A Logitech tem seu próprio software de jogo na Winderp $ que faz isso de forma excelente, mas por razões óbvias, isso não está ajudando no meu problema. Além disso, não acredito que este seja um dispositivo estéreo padrão, pois ele ainda está SOMENTE usando meus alto-falantes frontais no Linux e sempre que eu não tenho o Logitech Software instalado no Winderp $. Se estiver usando apenas os dois alto-falantes frontais (ou pelo menos os canais frontais), meu dispositivo deve ter sido feito de maneira que seja na verdade 7.1, e não inteiramente virtual.
