Como instalar o Eclipse que eu já baixei com o Android Development Kit?

Eu fiz o download do Kit de desenvolvimento Android completo (ADK) no site oficial do Google Developers. É um arquivo .zip que contém o Eclipse e outras ferramentas do ADT.

Eu quero instalar o aplicativo Eclipse que está nesse arquivo .zip. Eu não quero o trabalho de ir todo o tempo para esse diretório específico e executar o Eclipse a partir daí.

Existe algum comando que me permita instalar a versão do Eclipse que eu baixei com o ADK?

Execute o comando abaixo no terminal para conceder permissão de execução ao arquivo eclipse ,

sudo chmod +x ~/Documents/android/adt-bundle-linux-x86_64-20131030/eclipse/eclipse

Se você quiser executar eclipse diretamente do terminal, adicione a linha abaixo ao arquivo ~/.bashrc . Para abrir ~/.bashrc , execute este comando gedit ~/.bashrc .

export PATH=$PATH:~/Documents/android/adt-bundle-linux-x86_64-20131030/eclipse

Arquivo ~/.bashrc de origem para que funcione,

source ~/.bashrc

Execute o arquivo eclipse diretamente por

sudo eclipse
