Por que o mysql 5.5 instalado automaticamente quando eu instalo o mysql workbench 6.0.9 do arquivo deb usando o ubuntu software center

Estou usando o Ubuntu 13.10 e já instalei o mysql 5.6.16 nele. Eu fiz o download do arquivo deb mysql workbench (mysql-workbench-community-6.0.9-1ubu1310-amd64) do site mysql. Agora, quando eu executo este arquivo deb com o Ubuntu Software Center, ele é automaticamente instalado no sistema.

Como posso instalar o workbench do mysql somente ??

Insatll mysql-workbench-community-6.0.9-1ubu1310-amd64.deb file sem instalar mysql5.5 executando o comando abaixo no terminal,

sudo dpkg --force-all -i  mysql-workbench-community-6.0.9-1ubu1310-amd64.deb

O comando acima irá forçar a instalação do arquivo mysql-workbench.deb sem instalar suas dependências.
