Eu realmente preciso instalar algumas atualizações no meu computador, mas toda vez que ele diz:

The package system is broken

Check if you are using third party repositories. If so disable them, since they are a common source of problems.
Furthermore run the following command in a Terminal: apt-get install -f

Então eu entrei no terminal e executei o comando e ele não fez absolutamente nada. Eu então tentei sudo apt-get update e também não fiz absolutamente nada.

Execute os próximos comandos no terminal e cruze os dedos:

sudo dpkg-reconfigure sudo dpkg --configure -a sudo apt-get autoremove sudo apt-get -f install sudo apt-get update
