Primeiro, remova o ppa: merlwiz79 / cinnamon-ppa da lista. Você pode fazer isso indo
Software e atualizações - > Outro software.
Agora adicione este novo ppa digitando:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:gwendal-lebihan-dev/cinnamon-nightly
Agora você pode instalá-lo usando
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install cinnamon
