Não é possível atualizar o erro E tipo libe 58 [duplicado]

Não é possível abrir o gerenciador de atualizações, o gerenciador de pacotes ou o centro de software.

1. O código a seguir aparece quando tento iniciar o acima:

Could not initialize the package information

An unresolvable problem occurred while initializing the package information.

Please report this bug against the 'update-manager' package and include the following error message:

'E:Type '“deb' is not known on line 58 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list, E:The list of sources could not be read.'

Tentei 'gedit', aparentemente ele não lida com arquivos 'E'?

A linha 58 do arquivo /etc/apt/sources.list parece começar com “deb em vez de deb .

Abra o arquivo como root em um editor, por exemplo, usando

sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list

da linha de comando, e remova o “ (e se houver um ” no final da linha remova também isso).
